| This park is so fun. It`s so spacious that it doesn`t resemble anything like Japan.The park is mostly transition, so for those ramp skaters it`s a great playground. There is a small street course (bank-to-bank gap with a ledge next to it) that you might overlook because just cruising the transitions is too fun. Even those people who`s never skated transitions would love this place.Behind the mini ramp, there are two banks facing each other. Also at the top section, there are small rails on mellow slopes.You will be impressed with the size of this area.Half of the area is a basketball court so if you get bored of skating, you can play hoops.I am not sure if it is part of the skatepark but at the end of the court there is a small bank with a skatable ledge next to it. Check it out.Just to let you know there are no vending machines so make sure you bring enough water. |

| This skatepark is located right off the Tokorozawa exit of Kan-Etsu-Dou Highway in Saitama. It opened in December of 2006 after the park in Oume city closed down. Those of you who skated the Oume park know Mr. Satoru`s expertise in building ramps. So enough said about the quality of the mini-ramps in the park. He turned a warehouse into a skatepark with 5 different sizes of mini-ramps altogether. By the entrance there is a mellow mini-ramp 90cm tall and 450cm wide. Farther inside,there is a bigger min-ramp 150cm tall with an extension of 180cm tall. The ramp is 540cm wide. Also there is a mini-ramp with a spine(the bottom flat is not as long as the other ones, so it`s quick) and other easy ramps for beginners. Ramphouse Tokorozawa welcomes skaters of all levels. |
